Bio

My name is Kathleen, I hold an AS in Paralegal Studies and Certificate of Advanced Paralegal Studies and am on track to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice-Public Safety & Justice at Bay Path University in Spring 2024. Following the completion of my Bachelor's Degree, I have been accepted at, and will be attending, New England Law Boston. Since 2015, I have been a paralegal and office manager. I specialize in family law and child welfare matters, and have experience in a variety of legal matters, including cases in the Massachusetts District & Superior Courts, and the US District Court. Through my schooling and career, I have become a skilled legal researcher, and have experience in all aspects of litigation, from drafting of initial pleadings to extensive discovery preparation and review, trial prep, and appellate briefs. In addition to legal research and writing, I am highly proficient with all Microsoft Office and computer computer programs, as well as a variety of firm management and billing software. I am a dedicated advocate of family rights, criminal justice reform, and reform in the child welfare system. Following law school, I plan to represent clients in criminal, family, and juvenile court matters, with a focus on representing individuals who have been impacted by addiction.
