LeapIN Accelerator Creative Assistant

This project requires 6 students to work in 3 teams.The LeapIN Business Accelerator program brings in 12 Fanshawe College entrepreneurs and provides a supportive, hands-on environment for entrepreneurs to take their business to the next level... which is why we need you!Leap Junction is seeking 6 students to work with our staff team and client entrepreneurs to provide marketing and graphic design support to the 12 new businesses we are working with this summer. Leap Junction staff will form 3 student teams, each made of one graphic design specialist and one marketing specialist. These teams will each have 4 client entrepreneurs to work with to create the assets and plans these client entrepreneurs need to accelerate their businesses. Each client will be different and we are seeking students who are up for a challenge, looking to learn and work well in teams. Marketing Specialist - 3 required - FILLEDAs one of our marketing specialists, you should have a good understanding of social media marketing, developing marketing plans, executing market research, driving sales, and website design. We also need you to have solid interpersonal skills, excellent self-direction, and good organizational skills. Graphic Design Specialist - 1 OPENING REMININGAs one of our graphic design specialists, you should have a good understanding of various design platforms. We hope you will have an understanding of logo design, icon design, video creation, and the creation of social media and website assets. We also need you to have solid interpersonal skills, excellent self-direction, and good organizational skills. Your TeamIf selected, you will be paired up with another student with complementary skills and assigned 4 client entrepreneurs. Leap Junction staff will be available to assist you with your work with these client entrepreneurs; however, we request you come with solid knowledge of your field! In addition to working with your client entrepreneurs, you will have access to professional development through the LeapIN Business Accelerator where we will be inviting you to attend 2-4 of our learning sessions along with your client entrepreneurs. Although we accept applicants from anywhere in the world, you must be able to attend meetings with your team member and your client entrepreneurs between 9 am - 6 pm EST. The LogisticsThis project will provide 80 hours of work per student participating over an 8 week period. Professional development opportunities provide are optional and not included in the 80 hour period. Each student will provide 20 hours of support to each of your client entrepreneurs in order to fulfill your 80-hour requirement. Students will be required to track their work in order to demonstrate the work done for each client entrepreneur. Fanshawe College students in Business-Marketing and Graphic Design will have the opportunity to use this experience along with the professional development and a written reflection as a co-op opportunity.
