- Shaking the Movers (STM) is an initiative developed by Senator Landon Pearson in 2008. During the workshop, facilitators discuss complex rights topics with children (ages 5-12) from diverse background to create a report that is presented to decision makers about problems that concern children.
- As a facilitator I developed and facilitated child rights-based activities for young people based on a world fit for children. Facilitated discussion with young people about rights to incorporate contributions to the final STM report.

- The Treesure Hunt event was hosted in Preston Park. Pairs of facilitators were situated with rights-based activities around the park as children attempted the Treesure hunt all around the park.
As a facilitator, I developed and facilitated purposeful child-friendly activities to promote environmental sustainability within nature and environmental spaces. I also designed and created the take home bookmarks with the inclusion of a QR code that led children to join the changemakers club to continue working to advocate for children’s rights.

- Responsible for supporting children, adults, youth, and older adults with disabilities through one-to-one support sessions and group sessions using therapeutic recreational activities and approaches.

Plan and facilitate individual and group programs to support physical, behavioural and emotional needs

- Worked as a registration and information officer within a local senior home. Explained the voting process to voters, collected personal information and filed the appropriate paperwork. Managed voter lines and directed traffic on voting day.

- Designed art programs suitable for kindergarteners using various mediums of art (acrylic paint, clay, crafts etc.) to create an engaging and safe learning environment.
Enacted Covid 19 measures to ensure enhanced sanitation within classrooms and other play areas. Assisted other specialized programs and worked within classrooms to provide a quality summer camp experience.

- Observed, identified, and recorded dwelling status of residences across the London area. Went from door to door collecting data for the census

- Facilitate and plan activities to engage children led by the principles of the How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for Early Years (2014) document. Supervise and care for infants, toddlers, and school-age children to create a safe and positive learning environment

- Supervised and incorporated play-based learning to a group of 25 children aged 6 and 7 years old. Prepared and served snack, provided homework help, and engaged children in educational learning activities.

- Supervised children (ages 4-12 years old) to provide a positive and safe learning environment. Coordinated activities through careful planning and coordination with camp supervisor to implement educational learning activities to create a quality camp experience (i.e., STEM activities, camp songs, crafts etc.)

- Application of TEFL principles to teach English and French as a second language. Lesson planning to fit individual learner styles for children ages 5-18 on a weekly basis. Documenting student progress and providing students with extra feedback and opportunities for improvement as needed.

- Working in partnership with families to provide exceptional care for children using knowledge and experience of child development. Organizing and facilitating age-appropriate educational activities and games for children ages (1+) while providing nurturing care through a play-based learning approach. Preparation of snacks and meals in accordance with the routines of individual children.
