Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Our team is looking to take our social media presence to the next level in order to drive traffic to our website and social media pages. To do this, we hope to improve our search engine optimization, and create an optimal schedule for our social media posts to be uploaded.


This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Researching keywords to determine the most relevant terms that our customers search for.
  • Researching Search Engine Optimization requirements for us to rank on the first page of Google.
  • Constructing a content calendar to upload social media content for the maximum possible traffic .
  • Creating social media content using the most efficient keywords for our target audiences while following the content calendar. Youth and adults are included.
  • Template creations for sustainable social media marketing by the company once the project is complete


Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Using our company’s social media analytics to tailor the content calendar to our customers activity, rather than general trends
  • Using AI interfaces (ex. ChatGPT) to assist with critical writing and scripts for marketing to our target markets
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

  • Create a content calendar to drive traffic to our social media pages.
  • Prepare a report outlining the SEO keywords and the social media calendar to be reviewed by the project manager.
  • Create social media templates for digital marketing
  • Created engaging social media posts using the most efficient SEO keywords for the intended targeted markets

Bonus steps would include:

  • Tailoring the content calendar to our customers' activity levels on different times and days.

Final deliverables should include

  • A report containing the most relevant SEO keywords for our company and a content calendar.
  • Written content for several social media posts to be uploaded as per the content calendar.
  • Digital, visual content to be used for social media marketing

A New DAEI is an award-winning community hub catering to youth and adults who want experience in the Dance and Entertainment Industry (DAEI). We begin at age 2 working with individuals up to adulthood in classical, cultural and street forms of movement. Our director is Tré Armstrong, celebrity dancer turned choreographer, actor and producer and she has dedicated her life to mentoring youth positively through the arts. As a Canadian Black artist who has travelled the world for over 20 years working and teaching, many obstacles have been overcome and she is here to help others avoid costly mistakes to have a successful career in dance and the arts both in Canada and globally.
