Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

For every well, pipeline, facility or site at the end of its productive lifespan, 360 is there to help understand costs, manage obligations and define risks – and as a result, make closure simple. The environment team at 360 focus on achieving regulatory closure from the Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) phase through to reclamation. Our list of environmental services include ESAs, remedial action plans, spill response, wildlife assessment, groundwater monitoring programs and much more. See our website to read an extended list of services.

Starting with the basics, the project will provide the student exposure and practical experience at the Phase 1 ESA level including aerial photograph review/drafting, historical records review, report writing, and other tasks as requested. The student will participate in a large scale Western Canada upstream closure project working under the supervision of the project manager. The student will have the opportunity to connect and engage with environmental professionals working within the Alberta Energy industry.

The project is anticipated to be delivered remotely with the help of Microsoft Teams.

Growth in the energy industry isn’t always simple, but it should be. Our industry is dynamic. What was successful yesterday may not be today. A shifting regulatory environment, increasingly uncertain risk, and the challenge of building for today while safeguarding tomorrow—companies active in oil & gas face these demands and others. Without the right support, navigating this complex industry environment can be challenging.

360 exists to make closure simple. By streamlining liability management and improving ARO analysis and reporting, we help ensure our clients follow requirements, avoid unnecessary risk, and optimize their asset portfolios, from initial prospecting through to abandonment and reclamation.

With our guidance, clients are fully informed, having unearthed previously unseen value, and feel empowered to make confident decisions to manage their liabilities.
