Details

We are an early-stage startup focused on developing wearable technologies for beauty. Our first product is internally referred to as ePolish. ePolish are artificial nails that can instantly change colour from a mobile app by bringing the ePolish into proximity to the phone. Our team is currently comprised of founders who are focused on finishing the hardware prototype. This project aims to integrate students into our team as they help us with our app development efforts.

Goals:

  • Assessment of React Native for app development
  • Coding the second iteration of the app for basic interaction with the prototype
  • The source code for the system, in a source control system such as Git
  • A final presentation and a written report explaining what you built, what worked well, and what you would change

* NDA's and waivers will be required from the interns undertaking this project.

Deliverables

Students will receive background information, as well as the previous iteration of the app, that they will be asked to reviewed in order to better understand our technology.

Weekly team meetings will be help to assign and review specific tasks to facilitate alignment and better assist students.

Mentorship

We will start with a kick-off to meet with the students, set goals, and make them feel part of our startup. We will schedule 1:1 weekly meetings and will be available over the phone or email for additional questions.
