In this project, students will be involved in feature development for a mental health software startup where students will be responsible for creating critical features relevant to our product. This project involves development of both frontend React features and backend Express features for a full stack software product. In this project, there will be development of key React features alongside integration of those key features into our growing codebase.

The goal of this project is first to setup design docs, and then work on system design of those key features. From there, the project will revolve around implementation of the UI using React and integration of the new feature into the Express, Node.js backend.

This project involves contributing to a growing codebase and developing key features with Javascript for both Express and React. This project involves setting up code ready for production and ensuring that the code is properly deployed onto our production environments.

Overall, the final deliverables include:

• Source code on github repository
• Completed set of tickets
• Final deliverable presentation of accomplishments

Learners will receive technical mentorship from the lead engineers as well as project managers who will assist in guiding through the entire software development process. Learners will also be able to work with team members in collaborative settings and peer programming sessions to assist in development of the project.
