Details

We are an early-stage startup focused on developing wearable technologies for beauty. Our first product is internally referred to as "ePolish." ePolish are artificial nails that can change colour instantaneously from any mobile device. Our team is currently comprised of two founders focused on finishing the prototype. This project will focus on developing a financing strategy focusing on finding different types of funding.

We would like students to focus on:

  • Develop a financing strategy based on optimistic, neutral, and pessimistic scenarios
  • Finding funding options available to us (grants, prizes, debt, and dilutive options)

A few areas of specific interest for us include:

  • Developing financial projections to be submitted for future funding opportunities
  • Applying to the most relevant funding options found during the duration of the project
Deliverables

The final deliverables should take the form of a final report and presentation including:

  • Financial projections (optimistic, neutral, pessimistic)
  • List of funding options relevant to our startup
Mentorship

We hold meetings biweekly to keep track of progress and support our students.
