Working with Insurtech Advisors, and in particular Dr. Kaenan Hertz, was such an incredible experience. I got to develop my analytical, programming, and communication skills through the project I was assigned, which was to develop a program to count the number of boats present in a given satellite image. I learnt so much from this experience, getting exposed to fields such as machine learning and AI that this project has given me a taste of, and that I would consider pursuing further as a result. Kaenan was amazing to work with, making himself available through email and video calls to check on the progress of the project. His feedback throughout has been excellent and encouraging, and has given me valuable insights that are paramount to kickstarting my career in data analysis and data science. Thank you!
